Default My introduction..... with poor spelling

Hey all, I have had my copy of Dom 2 for a couple of months now and play it... too much I am sure! I have played with one friend of mine but am now hoping to expand my experience into *real* MP games with no/very few AI nations. Anyone feel like inviting me to join a game? I have read the formums for a long time but still have no real judgement for if i am still pretty noobish or if there is a chance I might hold my own with some more experienced forum goers. A suggestion on how I might gague my own skill would be nice too. Thanks and I sure hope I dont look too foolish!

There's Ctis looking for a temporary replacement in a very very slow (quickhost, 96h) game with people of various skill-levels. I am pretty sure that this is some experience at least.

Anyway, welcome to the community. Gamethreads pop up every now and then. Just be patient for a week, or open your own game. Everyone can host PBeMs (if he has some patience, which I lack ).

I'm sure you won't look more foolish than the next newbie. And if anyone says different, they need a severe asswhipp'n. Enjoy your time here and dedicated ready Whuppin. Even though it's in a current state of Turmoil 3, all MP games are prefaced by "MP Game -". Either by choice or forced (I edit the Topic). So anything saying that should help you if you are able to get in before they close the Pretender gates.

Best of luck.

Is this really a newbie game? As in no veterans permitted?

As I read the thread on BF, it looked like some veterans were signing up. Looking on mosehansen, I see only 2 positions taken, but it seemed like other people were signing up in the thread...

I was also planning on starting up a newbie game tonight, but if this BF game is truly non-veterans, and there's room still open I'd be happy to join in (I was thinking of trying Abysia).

if you would like you could play a blitzgame 1on1 with me too .
i have dominions now since almost 3 months and have finished my first "real" mp game yesterday . I think i am now between newbie and veteran .

and yesterday 2 new games on mosehansen were offered so perhaps you can still join one of them
i joined the 12+ players orania game but i think there are still 1-2 nations open

Actually, at second thought you're right, Cohen is playing , and he is not a newbie. But, I believe that Tannath, Lepakko, Valinors, Deaconbone, Napoleon, and myself are newbies. (Napaleon is not new to Battlefield, but he is new at playing the game, I am pretty sure.) So, maybe we are lining up as lambs for Cohen. It will still be fun.
