Not necessarily true. It depends on the "expert" player's willingness to answer questions and ability to explain to the novice what the novice did that's inferior. Zen was/is a good example of such an expert mentor. And despite what has been said about him by various persons, I learned a lot about Ermor and sundry other topics by conversing with Norfleet.
