Re: Announcing: Freespace mod, a branch of the People\'s Mod
I can see the movement issue, but you can scale the ship models down if you need to.

True, well, I'll start with the freespace mod and I'll look into the possibility of a star trek mod later down the road.

The physical size of the ships is too large. It just wouldn't like right, as deadzone said too, the movement system just doesn't look right. So, it's decided then, look for a new post regarding the freespace mod, right now I have to wait for my new hard drive to come in, stupid disk fried If you hurry you can get a WD 120G 8m 7200 RPM HDD from Circuit City for $120.00 with $80.00 in mail in rebates.
$40.00 for that is not bad at all..*8P

Re: Announcing: Freespace mod, a branch of the People\'s Mod
Heres a crazy suggestion
If you really want, you can become apart of PXS in developing the peoples mod, I could do with someone who would want to do some coding
Seeing as I have less and less time these days, it might give the mod the kick it needs to get some sort of release out

Re: Announcing: Freespace mod, a branch of the People\'s Mod
Deadzone, I can do some of the coding. Atleast the Quadrant Map and some of the star systems plus the usual data files of my models.
I'm still not home so I can't do anything right now. I will be home at june 2.
I will also get some new models from my friend at june and I will add them to the mod A.S.A.P. I will study the summer so my time is limited too.
Btw. 120GB HDD with 120$? That is pretty cheap. You can get one here with 109 from Verkkokauppa.com

Re: Announcing: Freespace mod, a branch of the People\'s Mod
I'm buying a 80 gig w.d. for $104 cdn next week, and a lg 52x32x52x16 burner w dvd-rom for $88. As soon as I get those work will begin, I will begin working on a freespace mod as part of the people's mod.

Well, let me give you a site that will help you out with the computer stuff peeps.
They don't sell themselves but have links to people that will ship ANYWHERE.
