SEIV Running bug query

On my current computer, animated ship movement works fine, BUT if I play music during the game then ship movement becomes 'bumpy', as if I had turned animation off.

My computer does't like SE sound/music at all
It becomes very slow after while with sounds on but works perfectly fine in the mute setting.
