I was wondering, has anyone ever thought of making a mod(s) based on old Arcade space games. I mean think how great it would be you would have the evil Galaga Fleet fighting against the mighy Sinistar,::enteres ramble mode:: and...and...moose...fight...beware i live..

it would be great. So has this thought ever occured to anyone, or if you want to make one now ill help...

There are already a couple classic video game themed shipsets floating about. The hard part would be coming up with enough of them to have a full compliment of AI's for a mod.
