problem there is that from 80 to 51 you are only getting 50 points per lowering of 5 ER, and presumably needing 50 point of happiness and repro to offset that lowering for a net effect of nothing. The only gain is in the 100-80 range, and as Fryon correctly points out, your best best is to lower it to 81, and raise Repro and Happiness by 3 each.

Good point. Though I'd probably still leave Happy and Repro at 100%, as I haven't had problems with them even after dropping ER to 50%.

Also, Fyron, where did you get your information? Did you have to test it with a test-mod? I ask because dropping reproduction by 9% seemed more drastic (in-game) than dropping ER by 50%. Maybe my tests were done after I dropped ER to 50, then lowered Reproduction... I'll have to check again.

That is why you take Berzerkers and get a 5% bonus to happiness. Then, you don't need to spend those points to increase happiness by 5 points, and can still gain a profit. See how berzerkers keeps coming out on top?

Extensive testing a while back, though I used no mods. I think I posted some results in the PvK Balance Mod thread, or maybe it was in the thread that sparked that thread. I'm not sure.
