Good question. But this would seem to indicate not. The problem is the poison /can't/ be parried by shields, not that they erroneously can. Also that the poison ignores armour.
Although tests with magic shields showed they could sometimes parry the poison, though it was very erratic.

It's nice to see that there are still bug fixes for the Dom3 mechanics code, at least. I'm quite surprised to see that.

I agree, automatic darkness is what I would like to get the most, I have some maps with cave bottlenecks that wouldn't play the same at all with this fixed.
