Re: Iraq Map
My next project is a reworking of map n. 70 An Nasiriya.
It will be modified into a fictional map of a small iraqi town on the Euphrates and the surrounding area.

Re: Iraq Map
Here is the new map. It is a large (200 x 160) map featuring a variety of environments, from flat open desert to dense palm groves, including a moderate size city, a few small villages, a river and dry wadi.

Re: Iraq Map
Currently I am planning to make an improved version to fix some details, as I did for the first map.

Re: Iraq Map
Here is a medium size map (100 x 100). It is a reworking of the map contained in the "Thunder on the Tigris" scenario.

Re: Iraq Map
For the present time I think I am done with large fictional maps, although I could make more in the future.
I am thinking about making small maps representing real places in Iraq. Size would be 40 x 40 Max, as larger non fictional maps need too many measurements and compromises for the map drawing process remaining enjoyable for me.
If somebody in these forums has an iraqi neighbourhood, village, spot etc. he would like to see represented I am open to suggestions; a google earth placemark would be appreciated.

Re: Iraq Map
Here is a small map (20 x 30) representing a slice of iraqi countryside. It has been created using google earth.
It contains palm groves, scattered buildings, secondary roads etc. It should be good for small scale infantry actions.
