Quick multiplayer question
When playing a network game, does "save & quit" submit the turn file? Or does that only happen when you hit "End turn"?
I think there's a message saying that you have to actually end turn to for it to get submitted, but I just want to be certain.
I'm confused because the next time I log in, it doesn't show the normal "X" on my nation. I get a message box saying that my nation's 2H file has already been submitted.

Re: Quick multiplayer question
Save & quit should do what you want, but doesn't - it uploads your turn anyway. In the past, I've solved this by unplugging my network cable before saving the turn.
Even then you have to be careful - next time you connect it will immediately upload your turn. It's sneaky!

Re: Quick multiplayer question
Another way to rid yourself of the "turn got uploaded prematurely" problem is to just download the turn, exit, and choose the game regularly from the "Play an Existing Game" list. You can do the turn without any hassle, and upload it (reconnecting to the server does that like llamabeast said) when you feel like it.

Re: Quick multiplayer question
Yes that works best for me. Download the turn then exit. Chose to play the file like a solo local game. The next time you connect it should upload it.

This needs to be stuck in the faq, methinks.
