ORBAT questions please help
I was planning to make a campaign of Red Vs Red, something like Central Asia Ex-USSR countries fighting each other, so will be cool to know the order of battles of countries like Kirguizistan and Uzbekistan, and if is possible, what SMPBT countries will be the best to choose.
Thank's

Re: ORBAT questions please help
You could use Red for both sides and just select older soviet equipment from prior to the collapse (using the captured settings in the purchase screens).
Just my 2 cents though.

Re: ORBAT questions please help
Good point DD, the best way would probably be to use Red on both sides (even the names would nearly match), and use captured Russian units if you want up to date equipment (T-64s, modern arty...).
Attached is an transcript from the 2005 World Military Balance showing high-scale OOB and equipments used by all five Central Asian former-Soviet republics. Sadly it doesn't show low-level organizations, but you can safely go with Soviet-style formations IMO.
Hope this helps,

Re: ORBAT questions please help
Attached in the "Attachment" link at the top of the post, under the title, and apparently some T-64s are still considered "in service" in a few FSU republics, e.g. Russia, Ukraine and Moldova (at least Transdestr).

Re: ORBAT questions please help
It's interesting in all the central asian countries with the exception of uzbekistan, BMPs out number the BTR series. you should consider using BMPs as the standard APC in your scenarios.
