I dont want to put them in the first post since they wont be completed till the Twin Spear issue is resolved. Until then, you can use the map and modfile I've attached in this post to practice with. Unzip the .map file to your maps folder and the .dm file to your mods folder. Make sure to then enable the mod and use that mapfile when you start your test game

It worked fine for me. Do you have the Shahrivar .tga? If you haven't already downloaded Shahrivar, it won't work.

Unfortunately my efforts to assign the death based Twin Spear have failed. I just posted in the modding forums for help but given my experience I think the problem may be unsolvable. We should start thinking about what item to replace that spear with... I'm certainly open to suggestions on this one!

I've suggested a Wraith Crown to Ironhawk, for the following reasons:
Like the Twin Spear, it gives a bit of undead in a battle, and with Ermor starting with the Body Ethereal spell, the etherealness isn't that big a deal, especially with human pretenders / no dead themes. Also, nice and thematic for Ermor. Posting it here also to see if anyone has objections. (Second choice : ring of sorcery. Third : Soulstone of the Wolves )

Oh - may I suggest changing the starting provinces in the .map file before the game? That way, no one knows where the other nations are, since only the host needs the modified map file.

twin spear of death is the good one (cause it doesn't horror mark you)
the real advantage of twin spears is that they are a long weapon with an interesting effect - but also they give luck.
Would be a difficult thing to replace

I therefore claim Caelum.
The rules specify a human pretender and non pop killing dom. themes. Are there additional rules?
Where can I d/l the artifact mod?
When should pretender be ready?
