Re: Truper\'s Revenge - #Dominions - Shahrivar_rev
People also wait til the last moment to keep the clock from creeping forward when it's running QH - one of many bad things about QH as the game runs on.
Not sure if we've been on QH or not, but I think we have.

Re: Truper\'s Revenge - #Dominions - Shahrivar_rev
Ah, so close to victory in storming that castle. I love the nether darts (to bring down MR) + enslave mind combo on SCs. I would have won too, if not for those meddling skeletons.
But seeing, as I still managed to lose... I'm prefectly fine calling it quits. I think everyone who's written in so far agrees- though we have yet to here from puffyn.

Re: Truper\'s Revenge - #Dominions - Shahrivar_rev
that was another expensive victory for me - yeah, the nether darts were sweet; but i decided to scrape together what i could to hold onto that castle. It was one close fight, no doubt.
I'm still enjoying the game; it's just that i can barely get in the moves

OTOH, i would have wiped out your retreaters if not for that meddling T'ien Chi. I guess Trupe feels protective about your water queen, or something... ;p

Re: Truper\'s Revenge - #Dominions - Shahrivar_rev
I can take or leave this game right about now, being a bit busy these days and also realizing Vanheim is regrettably well poised. Can't seem to get supercombatants to last more than a few turns of combat these days, but otherwise things aren't entirely hopeless... and I don't want to call it quits if someone out there is still enjoying it.

Hmm. I came to the thread because we're 14 minutes away from both Abysia and Oceana staling. I expected to find that folks had decided to fold. I am ok with playing on, especially as I don't have another game going at the moment.

Re: Truper\'s Revenge - #Dominions - Shahrivar_rev
hey, i offered to let you take vanheim if you wanted...
yah, puffyn and sedna staled. Its all good
anyways, its been a fun game. I've been impressed w/ the new kids ;p as they have a firm grasp of the basics - and if puffyn had had a bit of luck in his attacks, things would be somewhat different.

Re: Truper\'s Revenge - #Dominions - Shahrivar_rev
Heh, totally forgot about actually playing my turn as opposed to just talking about it, hence the stale... I also regret that my attacks were almost uniformly luckless
Congrats, archaeo, on your victory.

Re: Truper\'s Revenge - #Dominions - Shahrivar_rev
I'm still happy to get some more turns in, since I have my nefarious plans still unfulfilled; however, I can see how puffyn and sedna are not currently a sufficient military obstacle.
if not, good game all.
