Re: OT : Your Wargame Memory
1. What was the lst wargame you ever played?
Depends on the definition of Wargame.
Looking at question 3, I guess you mean on a computer here, so, er...
Super Trek on the University of Washington Unix mainframe?
Sea Battle on the Intellivision?
Tanktics on the Atari 8-bit computer?
2. What was the lst wargame you ever owned?
Sea Battle on the Intellivision?
Tanktics on the Atari 8-bit computer?
3. What was the lst wargame Board Game you ever played?
Again, depends on the definition of Wargame.
I'd tend to answer Tactics II, by Avalon Hill, though I played other games about war before that.
4. What was the lst wargame Board Game you ever owned?
Tactics II I guess.
5. Do you still have the lst game you ever played?bought?
Yes.
6. What is your favorite Board WarGame?
Hmm. Apples and Oranges. Probably have to say GURPS tactical combat with hexes and my own house rules.
7. How Old were you when you played your lst wargame?
Tactics II was like ... 9 years old.
8. Do you play Chess? If so what age did you start playing?
Rarely these days. Not sure when I started - 6 years old?
