A question on multiplayer games

Will it cause any problems if I use my unique set of formation/ship names/strategy/ship types files that is different from the other players in a game?

Formations might cause a problem (think they need to be stored on the server?) but I dont think the rest will be any problem.

Of course, experts, correct me if I'm wrong.
