Where do you find MP games?
Hello.
I'm intrested in starting my 2nd MP game. I've checked Mosehansen but never see anything open. (I think I read he was retiring from the game server business but don't see anything on his site.) Where else should I look?

Re: Where do you find MP games?
Here is a prefect place.
If you read French, another nice place is: http://www.strataegis.com/forums/vie...f95e57bb0076c4
There is also the BattleField and GoneGold, but they have been quite dead lately, so I can't be bothered to find the URLs.
There is also a dominions II IRC channel... you can find information about it elsewhere in this forum. I do not use it, so I cannot tell you how many games are organized there, but I am told that one can learn an awful lot from the discussions there.

Re: Where do you find MP games?
There's also been about ... 4 games that were recruiting and getting ready to start right here in the Last week. I think they're mostly full now, but you ought to check here a little more often and you'll likely find games getting ready to start.
In fact, I think the "New(b) game" is still recruiting. Also,
Randomosity seems to be one player short, as it was looking for 10 and there's only 9 now.
Side Note: Esben said he was scaling down his game server, not doing away with it. In fact, there's an open slot on mosehansen right now, if I'm not mistaken.

Heh. GoneGold seems to have Gone Belly Up - at least there's no response whatsoever from www.gonegold.com.

You could try the #dominions IRC channel, we have been starting an organized game around 18:00 GMT each sunday, and other smaller games usually start over the weekend.
EDIT: I did't notice Yvelina had already mentioned the channel.

Re: Where do you find MP games?
So, nowdays it's invite-and-enter? I guess I was confused because the first one I did was open take-a-slot.
Thanks. I'll check New(b) and Randomosity.
Appreciate the responses.

Re: Where do you find MP games?
Some (especially on mosehansen) are open take-a-slot, but others people organize on here, waiting for people to say what nations they're taking, discuss mods, settings, etc.
