I just saw an Aurora from my house!

I just saw an aurora happening above the night sky here in montreal from my apartment balcony; It was spectacular! Go to www.spaceweather.com right now, check where you live and check your night sky! Do it right now!

The aurora's died down here, it's still going on, but none of the curtain effects I saw an hour earlier are happening now.

Wow, that was unexpected. Didn't even show up on the news and all that. You'd think this kind of thing would show up on the local news or something.

I went outside and took a look but it's raining lightly and I couldn't see anything. [img]/threads/images/Graemlins/Cold.gif[/img] The northern sky does seem a bit lighter than usual, though.
