Cloaking Tec, next level.

I've had a thought if cloaking tec were used to cloak a planets contents rather than the planet itself such that that worlds population would appear not to exist so that any ships that enter the area don't notice the planet and move on, it would be great for an outpost deep in enemy territory, build the generator and pray they don't come and try to colinize the place untill your empire reaches and fortifies the system then you can scrap it and use the free spot for a new facility of some sort. Would this be useful? Or am I wasting precious time writing a usless though down, hmmmmmmm. I gotta rearange my priorities...

Any way thoughts?

An expansion on your thought. Maybe a facility that cloaks the planet so that it is invisible.

If they can not see the planet they can not colonize it.

If those two tecs were added then the two should be seperated by a few levels, camoing buildins is a lot simpler than cloaking a planet, but ya both would be cool.
