MOD question: Facility Construction file and planet types file.
I have a question on the priority list for the facility construction file. (At work, don't have the name handy, it's AI_Construction_Facility or something like that.)
Anyway, I was wondering if the AI will scrap a facility lower on the list to get build a higher priority facility that it didn't have the tech for. I.e., by putting the atmosphere converter in at #1 will it scrap a facility on a tiny world to make room for that facility or not?
On a related note, does the AI designate worlds as intelligence compounds before they get applied intelligence? One of my strategies early in the game is to designate some worlds as intelligence compounds, but build research centers until I run into another race, then I scrap the research centers and start building intelligence centers. I was wondering if I put a bunch of research centers at the bottom of the Intelligence compound construction list if the AI would designate a world as an intelligence compound before it had applied intelligence and follow something close to the strategy above. (Don't know if the AI would be able to wait until it actually ran into someone before building intelligence centers...)
