Default Question about Fryon\'s Mod - FQM2.1

Hi where is the nebulae6.bmp and nebulae7.bpm

just looked i don't have those either. guess the rest of us haven't hit
those systems yet

Same mod, no answer, but other Questions
Having just installed Fyrons DeLuxe and Standard Mods together with TDM Mod, I would like a few updates to the help files for combining these so other neewbs can avoid a few pitfalls:

DeLuxe Mod, point 6): "Paste the 3 files previously..." - you previously mentioned 8 files, may confuse someone.

Standard Mod has the old Version with 3 files listed, but choosing only these will not enable you to create huge(200+ systems)quadrants. Copying the files mentioned in the DeLuxe Mod help will work, except the DefaultStrategies.txt from the Standard Mod which is not working because several entries are missing.

Also, in huge quadrants there are not enough system names in the TDM Mod, please mention that SystemNames.txt should be copied too, for both Versions.

Tesco, all of those images are in the mod. Go redownload it to get them again.

Hmm... forgot to change it when I made the deluxe Version from the standard Version.

That is because Settings.txt is not a part of the mod itself. It can be edited to have 255 max systems. Maybe that should be mentioned. FQM Deluxe mentions copying it because there is a modded pop modifier scale in Deluxe.

The modified DefaultStrategies.txt file in FQM Deluxe is not a part of the quadrant mod, it is a part of the Ultimate Strategies Mod (USM). The latest Version of USM is added to each Version of FQM Deluxe because you must use FQM Deluxe to play the maps made with it. The purpose of FQM Standard is to make maps for use in other mods, so including USM in it would not be beneficial (and would hurt some, as Formations.txt is also modded in USM, and that is one of the data files that can cause errors with PBW games using FQM to make the map, but not play with).

That can be done.

I have uploaded altered Versions of the help files to the FQM web site. They will be included in all future releases of FQM.

That would be pretty funny. Hopefully, we can get MM to to implement such things in the standard SE5 game, so the mod becomes irrelevant.
