PBW - Two new PARANOIA games
Hi all,
The first paranoia game is proceding quite well and empires have risen and fallen as the galaxy has come together to stop the threats as they appear. It is time to start a new game of paranoia. The players have said it has been a very fun game so far with alot of political maneuvers and lies and half-truths thrown around the forum-board as the game has developed.
I have created two games with slightly different rules.
PARANOIA - THE REVENGE
This game is almost the same as the first one with some minor changes to improve the game. Each player is given a secret target empire. The goal of the game is to kill your target and the game ends as soon as someone dies. This game is great for newbies as well as pro's as the newbies can expect some help from their neighbors as long as they let people know they need it.
THE HUNT
This is a variation on the paranoia game where the game does not end after you kill your first target. Instead you are given a new target. The game only ends after you have recieved yourself as a target, which should occur after X of your targets have died (X depending on the number of players). This gives you a little leeway if you want to kill your neighbor and absorb his empire into yours without ending the game. I expect this game to be a bit more cutthroat than the Paranoia game.

My only gripe was not knowing my target when i started as a replacement, however, i'm involved in like 7 or 8 games now and am out of control. So the hunt is looking good in like 3 mons

Do you still not know your target? I have all the target info and thought I had passed it out to the replacement players as they came. If I have not given it to you, then let me know...

Bman, I am trying to figure out the hunt thing. How is it different than a typical Last man standing game in which the objective is to knock out everybody else? You are given a specific target I guess, but you stated it was ok to knock out a neighbor early if you wish. I am confused.
