Imperator Fyron needs your help!

Hmmm. Ok, I admit, the subject might be a bit too dramatic, but it did get your attention, didn't it?

IF's game, Adamant 004 on { PBW } , currently has FOUR open player slots. It is still pretty early in the game (stardate 2403.9), and most empires are still exploring and expanding. (There is currently no open warfare, AFAIK.)

Now, If I wanted to play against the AI, I'd be playing a hotseat game. 4 open spots out of 17 is ridiculous, especially considering the esteem IF has as a game host! So come on and join in the fun! There is even a {STORY THREAD} about this game (which I'm kinda overdue to post in

)!

I'm willing to be a replacement player.

But I'd like a bit of info first...
1) What is a role-playing game and how does it differ from a "normal" game?
2) What are "OOC Messages"?

1) Role-playing means that you play as a character. You keep all in-game Messages "in-character", and don't say things like "sup dude?"

2) OOC = Out Of Character

With all the plethora of games, I think I have a case of my eyes being bigger than my stomach.

I have an upcoming game to play and things may get a bit tough for time.

However, I am willing to be a temporary replacement player for anyone who cannot play a 1.78 game for 2 or 3 weeks. I could take over immediately, but if possible, I would suggest giving me a few days notice, so I can understand the players style of play and thereby turn back the game to the player in a similiar condition as if he was never away.
