Open RP Games?

Hey hey... Its been a while since I engaged a human, and my SEIV partner here in Phoenix is kinda flaken off, so I figure I look elsewhere for a good game.

Requirements...If interested.
* Emphasis on RP - Doesnt havta be too serious, but I prefer games that have a little more substance... (That renegade captain who steals his ship and disrupts an alliance in an attack on an ally...Or the snide ambassador, who early in the game speaks for an empire and irritates its allies, but later in the game Boards a transport ship and... uh oh, "Why is our ally sending an escort to intercept the ambassador?" LOL... I love internal conflicts and just interesting chains of events, but who doesnt - ya dig?)
* Custom Components? Not a necessity... but I wouldnt mind going over a few ideas with any potential players to discuss any (albeit minor) additions we may make to the tree...

* Theme? ... Again, I am open for this. We can use standard SEIV races (I personally have been using House of Aleskander (is that whats it called?) as my shipset, but have no problems assuming a default race)... Or we can go more exotic and set it somewhere (heh, like if that b5 mod is complete)

Anyway, just an open call to see if anyone is preparing a game or considernig joining one... I dont want any heartless cutthroat (unless it truely fits the race...hell, -someone- hasta be an ******* LOL), this way noobs are good to go too, and wont be overwhelmed by you regulars who know to 'Recearch this, this, this, and in 21 turns death has come to your little empire'....
You number crunchers are still welcome, but try to veer from that kind of thinking. This should be for fun...not just for the joy of saying "I won, I won, I played dirty and oooh its good"

We have a spot open in the History game. The EEE was run by the AI for the first 100 turns, and more recently for several turns by a human. I really liked where he was going with his RP's, but he had to pull out for real life reasons. If you'd like to take a crack at it. Apparently the Empire is not in the greatest of condition, but it's alive, and the History game isn't about winning and losing anyway.

I'll be making the Starfire scenerio available for download when I'm done with it it shouldn't need a GM once I have it set up. So if you really wanted to do that, and can scrape together enough players..

Sounds interesting... Never really played as the Eee before. (maybe its the weak shipset, LOL) I'll definately consider it though, as I appreciate the offer.

Is there any information on the history game that I might need to know (aside from the story thread itself)..?

I'd really love to enter an RP as my own race, but aww hell, Im in need of a fix for some real dialogue from another race... Not just "Mineral Planets are the best!" LOL Or "We're sorry, but after starting **** and backing down, we still must refuse your treaty".... damn that ignorant fooken AI *LOL* It does not realize that it inflicts much unneeded pain upon its own empire with decisions like that.

Thanks though, I'll do a lil side-reading on the story thread again and reply here if the spot doesnt get filled first. (BTW if someone else wants it - May as well give it to 'em, coz Im not too big on Eee, but if all else fails I can take the challenge.) Thanks..

You know, I never really read up on Starfire...
Must be behind the times *winks* So the mod might be a bit akward to me, especially RP wise... I dont know how things are in the Starfire universe. I wanna check the mod out though for review purposes, have heard enough about Starfire that it sparks an interest.

not a mod.. scenerio. It uses the Proportions mod with some very minor changes.
