Question about TDM Modpack
Hello, folks, looking for a bit of quick information. I'm sure it's been posted elsewhere, so could someone post a link to instructions on how to install the TDM modpack for SE4G? I tried the installer, but it hangs at the Torons. I thought I'd do it the old fashioned way, if someone could point out the instructions.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Question about TDM Modpack

Re: Question about TDM Modpack
Thanks, Mudshark. I did that, actually as a subdirectory in the SE4G folder. There was a path command, as I recall, to direct the the executable to use those files, instead of writing over my original installation. I thought it was just copying the TDM modpack path into the SE4G directory, but after doing that, and running the game, the new races are not available. Any suggestions, or am I really faced with copying over the original game files?

SE IV uses "path.txt" in its root directory.
After coping "TDM-ModPack Path.txt" to root directory, rename it "path.txt"

Re: Question about TDM Modpack
Also, check out ModLaunchingProgram.zip in the CD's Extras folder. It automates changing the path.txt to use your installed mods.

Re: Question about TDM Modpack
Or wait a day or so until our next release and use the new auto-installer program that Mephisto has been working very hard on
