Syrian Infantry Platoon TO&E

I need advice on the Syrian infantry platoon TO&E as I am having a difficult time confirming the organization and equipment of it’s Infantry forces. What I have found are mostly discussion groups over at Battlefront concerning the Shockforce game; therefore, I am reluctant to rely on their member’s opinions.

Here is what I’ve gathered from a variety of sources:
Syrian Infantry Platoon
Platoon Hq 1 x2
MMG team 1x2
RPG team 1x2
Rifle squad 2x9
Total strength 24 men

This means the Syrians field companies of 3 or 4 platoons and their battalions contain up to 5 companies. Although, the Syrian Army Doctrinal Order of Battle by Joseph Holliday of the Institute for the Study of War, appears as the most credible rendering of Syrian Army OOB available as it is based on interviews as late as 2012 of former Syrian army commanders, it does not contain Syrian Army TO&E data.

This information is most interesting to me as it supports my efforts in authoring Red Line Syria series.
