French OOB
Does anyone know if the French exported all unit 203 AMX-30 DCA to Saudi Arabia OOB 64?
If not might be worth adding to French OOB as it gives them radar AA capability
I think only 60 or so were produced in total so may just have been export exept production seemed to start around 1969.
So possibly France had from 1970 to guessing late 80s

Re: French OOB
Yep I just found that out myself, would suggest reviewing start date & putting back 2 years.
Also ammo load out is wrong for one of them Saudi Unit has nearly double.
Saudi unit also has considerably heavier armour ratings

Re: French OOB
Yeah I have no idea where the 19 came from.... probably a cut and paste interruption
Ah ! no... ones an AMX-13 and the other AMX-30. Two different beasts. I've put it on the list to sort out. Right now I'm dealing with things 60 years before that. I'll fix the photo too

TELL ME ABOUT IT ....
I started out yesterday looking for "a few new photos" for naval units in WW2 and ended up going over nearly every unit and formation and finding ( a couple, not a lot ) errors that had been in there for over a decade ...... that used up half a day and brought me back 45 years to a time when WW2 naval ships were what I lived and breathed for about a year. I had forgotten what a beautiful beast the Yamato was

Yes! Yamato, the largest battlewagon ever (over 72,000 tons loaded, 9 18-inch guns, etc). Her sister Musashi was pummeled mercilessly by carrier-based dive- and torpedo-bombers, taking 17 bombs and 19 torpedoes before sinking off northern Samar in the Philippines during the Battle of Leyte Gulf. Yamato bought it later on a suicide run towards the allied armada off Okinawa, taking up to 11 torpedoes and 6 bombs (Wiki). But you already knew that. (You've probably read Tuleja's Twilight of the Sea Gods too, about Bismarck, Tirpitz, et. al.)
What I love about MBT is that it reflects the assertion of air power on the post-modern battlefield. Skillful use of flyboys can make a huge difference. The more I learn about this game the more fascinating it becomes. Terrific.

Re: French OOB
Formations 23 & 602 VAB infantry Company only have 3 platoons I think they should have 4
Earlier VAB formations have 4 platoons as do all the other infantry formations I checked from about 4 years previously to present
