Default Modified Swedish OOB

My goal is to try and modify the Swedish OOB to more correctly represent the modern Swedish defence forces.

Today the primarly standard infantry weapons used are the AK4 (G3 rifle) and the AK5 (FN FNC), the first being used by the Homeguard units ("Hemvärnet") and the second being used by the rest of the army.

The AK4 was adopted in 1964 and has existed in four versions:
-AK4 - standard rifle
-AK4B - standar rifle fitted with an aimpoint sight
-AK4 OR - sharpshooting version fitted with a 4x telescopic sight

The AK4B started equipping the Homeguard units in 2003 and in 2009 it had made its way into the entire Homeguard as a whole. The AK4 OR still exists as far as I know and is primarly used by the disignated marksmen of the Homeguard squads.

The AK5 was adopted by the Swedish army in 1986 and exists in five versions:
-AK5 - standard rifle
-AK5B - sharpshooting version fitted with a 4x telescopic sight
-AK5C - shorter barrel, lighter weight and aimpoint sight
-AK5D - updated version of the AK5C
-CGA5P - special version for the police, no automatic fire mode available

Both the AK5 and the AK5B had been fully replaced with the AK5C in 2011, but still exist in storage units if Sweden needs to quickly train and equip soldiers in case of war. The AK5D was adopted in 2005 and is used by the Swedish troops in Afganistan.

Both the AK4 and AK5 can use the 40 mm M203 GL.

One question I have is regarding the AK4 OR and the AK5B. Since they are designed for sharpshooting they should have a longer range and better precision than the standard infantry rifle.

What should those values be in-game?

I will continue with the updating of the Swedish OOB...

Cheers, Taskforce

IIRC the AK5B already exists in OOB066 (Sweden)...

I've done some research on the subject - I'd be glad to help out.

My area of interest has been the cold war though - I wanted to add some of the less sexy formations like the Bicycle Rifle Battalion (Cykelskytte) or the hybrid units of the Gotland Brigade.

It is somewhat hard to find solid information on actual organisation after the invasion defence was dismantled...
