Australia
Are there any map #'s for Australia? When I pick Australia for a random battle they fight where the opponent is from. Other than the map editor is there any Australian maps?

Re: Australia
Other than the map editor??
You mean ready made ones.
For random battles its far more likely AUS will be overseas peace keeping or some such hence the reason it picks the opponents map.
Either look up the bat loc number in the editor help lists numbers & locations
or
Set up a civil war AUS vs AUS
Generate a few dozen maps & that will give you some AUS bat locs

Depends on who plays against Australia, where the battles end up.
Try, say France V Aus - then you'll get an exercise the outback, Northern Oz etc.
V. Indonesia, NVA, VC etc - will get the appropriate batlocs.

Re: Australia
thanks.. I hadn't thought about an AUS v AUS. I was trying to get some battle locs for some China v Aus in Aus and wasn't sure if there were any.
Thanks again for the help as always.

Re: Australia
With China - you will get Chinese batlocs most likely, maybe Korea in 51 or so (Not sure if I included Oz in with the UN forces for that).
China's fall-back is China for any never-happened circumstances.
But it also depends whose fall-back overrules - if the nation is further down the batloc list etc, for any fantasy battles.
The only way to find out is to suck it and see, for fantasy wars.

Re: Australia
So I was playing around with batlocs.... mainly civil war situations US v US, UK v UK etc. It seems that these match ups give Germany. Wouldn't these in their respective countries?

Nope - I decided to use the BAOR/NATO locations for such, as exercise areas.
