Wish Question
Say I wanted 3 Astral mages that i could either empower or add boosters to reach S8 and I already have 1.
I wish for Stargazer (Ryleh S5 commander) to start. I decide since it is such a good choice i will wish for another.
Poof...I keep the same one but the other one dissolves. I think its a fluke ( and do it agian. This time it says the Stargazer (I forget his name) is transported to the same province it started out as.
Let this be a lesson to me...don't waste 200 Astral gems being a dummy.
Sooooooo, any 2 of exactly the same thing can NOT be wished for whether item or person. So how about Tarts (I don't know why you would but whatever), Abomination etc?
Now I actually WAS in a game where 2 Armageddon's where cast the same turn by the same person. So I guess spells are different?
Last question...If I wanted to cast ..say Utterdark but had no Death Gems or Lvl 9 castor's will it cast and will it STAY more than 1 turn?
I know these are not the usual wishes but I have a chance to experiment and thought I would.
Opinions or answers guys?

Re: Wish Question
The Stargazer is unique IIRC. If so, of course you can't wish for two unique heroes.

Re: Wish Question
yup. ryleh hero is unique so only one of him. only uniques like that will poof. everything else is normal.
not sure what you're asking in the next question. unless you meant wish for a global? which you can't do

1) Armageddon is a specific target of the Wish spell. You can cast multiple wishes per turn, no problem.
2) Utterdark, or any other spell for that matter, may *not* be replicated via use of Wish.
3) It's a heck of a lot less expensive to your in-game well-being to try this with e.g. the debug mod first...
4) For unique units, try Edi's DB, filter on the "Unique" column in the AllUnits tab. In your case, you'd have been well advised to wish for a Seraph or other S4 chassis and empower instead.

Re: Wish Question
Tartarians and Abominations are non-unique units so you can wish for as many as you want although doing so would be quite wasteful.
Unique units have a flag (#unique) which only allows one copy of them to be in play at a time. Thus, if you wish for a unique commander unit, it will poof from wherever it happens to be to your allegiance immediately just like artifacts, iirc.

Re: Wish Question
Hrm...interestingly, I just double-checked Stargazer's entries, and he *isn't* flagged as unique in either Edi's DB or lch's wiki:
http://dom3.servegame.com/wiki/Stargazer
Wonder if that was a change made with the last patch and they haven't been updated yet?

Re: Wish Question
star gazer is uniquely wierd.
He acts exactly like a unique multihero would.
Ie., he can show up multiple times. Each time he shows up, other versions of him disappear. There was a thread on this at some time.
However, grudge, you can in fact have multiple visitors, sorta.
1.wish for the visitor.
2Gor him
3Wish for magical power 3x
4Transform him
5.Return to step 1.

I mean "the stargazer become unique" is one of the change in CBM.....
As for your process, I think a better idea is empower it to D2, then cast twice born(or D1 with a ring of sorcery to cast), then kill it within your own dominion(cast ghost rider on it, ect.),and you will get what you want, which is much cheaper with all slots avaliable.
btw, you are not going to routinely wish magic power*3 in MP, are you?
