They'd obviously be different wars, but f.x. a Vietnam one (french and american), Iran-Iraq, Korea, whatever else interest can be found for.
Obviously there's a lot of work involved, and Im not familiar with the obstacles of the coding, but since its a feature that exists in the ww2 game, I imagine some of it must be transferrable?
So.. is this at all possible?
Is it at all realistic?
Cheers!

No - no war lasted long enough.
Use the campaign generator. See the release history - but e.g. for the Korean war then the Chinese can be entered "too early" and up till the correct date, then they get replaced by NK.
Most longer wars have the correct/good enough battle locations.
Iran/Iraq war - has the correct set of provinces etc by month and year.
USSR/Afghanistan - has a set of provinces taken from the book "The Bear went over the mountain" by month and year.
Cuba/South Africa have a good enough variation on Namibia/Southern Africa for a playable campaign based on the fighting there between 75(?) and 83(?) - and it is quite interesting with reasonably balanced sides.
WW3 is already covered - NATO v WARPACT all generate likely batlocs for that scenario till fall of the USSR.
Just try generating a few battles in the battle generator with the appropriate opponents and dates and see.
