Different Version

Hi All

IM new here and I have a few questions since Im thinking about buying SPWW2 and SPMBT as well.

I have purchased SPWW version 8.4. from Matrix Games which comes with the campaigns. So that leads me to 2 questions

Is there any difference between 8.4 (matrix) and SPWW2 Shrapnel). Which one of these is the newer version.

And if I purchase the SPWW 2 is it compatible with the one from Matrix


I dont have SPWMBT so I will purchase it anyways but im not sure about SPWW2. If any once can provide me with info on this that would be great.

Yes, they are different and NO scenarios/campaigns are compatible. They are built using different base game engines.

You should be able to search numerous threads explaining the differences but these may be a pretty good start;

Thanks for the links...I bought both!!! so Im looking forward to playing but given my performance versus AI in SPWAW I think im going to have a lot of learning to do playing SPWWW versus human..
