UK Helicopters - Self protection weapons missing - how to correct?

Hiya all, 1st post! I've been playing since the original DOS game and only recently found this version which has blown me away, however I've a question about the UK's transport helicopters which all lack any self protection weapons (except SF chinook). I'm in the RAF and work on Merlin MK3's/MK3A's so I know whats currently fitted to actual aircraft on operations and want to modify the game files but don't know how to (or if it's possible). Here's a quick list of what I want to add:

Army/Marines Lynx - 1x 7.62 GPMG
Puma - 2x GPMG
Sea King - 1x GPMG
Merlin Mk3 - 3x GPMG
Chinook (inc SF) - 2x 7.62 Miniguns & 1x M60

Any help will be gratefully received!

1) Please remember to post in the appropriate forum in future. Equipment goes in the TO&E sub-forum.

2) Also - please read the "error reporting" post in the sticky messages in the section for these at the top of the forum for future reference.

3) As to how to change these in your own OOBS then learn how to use the Mobhack editor. (Game Options Programme -> Utilities Tab -> Mobhack OOB Editor). Mobhack's help is available from the Help button on the load page of Mobhack or its menus, or the Game Options Programme -> Help Tab.

4) Remember to run your modified OOBS through the cost calculator to readjust for the value of the added armaments. (Game Options Programme -> Utilities Tab -> OOB Cost Calculator Utility).

5) Also see how to manage modified OOB sets in the Game Guide (Game Options Programme -> Help Tab -> Game Manual. Then "Running WinSPMBT" link and scroll down to "Manage OOB Sets".

You will want to have an OOB dir with your modified UK OOB in it so you can reload the default set when playing scenarios or PBEM and then swap back to your mod when required. (Your PBEM opponent may well want to stick to the stock OOBS, and using a modified oob against an existing scenario can mess up any that use that OOB.)
