.30 Browng AAMG - data error

In the Netherlands OOB the .30 Browng AAMG in OB Slot 51 has HE Kill of 9 and ACC of 15. For all other nations with this weapon the HE Kill is 5 and ACC is 20.

There seems to be no reason I can think of for the Dutch to have less accurate but more powerful AAMGs. Looks like an error.

BTW, I have compiled the weapons data from all OOBs into a spreadsheet. I will be doing further comparisons of weapons for inconsistent data values that appear to have no logic. I'll keep posting these for info in the hope that at least some of it will be useful for future updates.

The term "data error" in the thread title isn't intended as a criticism - just intended to make it easy to search for posts.

This is why we keep a tight rein on the OOB's these days. The Dutch gun is an error. If you find other weapons that don't match all I need is the name, the OOB and the weapon slot and I have software that can easily compare. I could do it with everything but I have to know where a problem is first to makes sense of the mass of data becasue there are:

14919 weapons in the MBT OOB's
15612 formations
34953 units

there's bound to be a few data errors

Same case OOB05 Japan, weapon 051 (also .30 AAMG). Just noticed it.

This is a problem we have been fighting all along. The same weapon named differently in different OOB's is a PITA and requires "creative" search words

Thailand and Lebanon also have this error ( now fixed )

Yes, another similar one. Most nations use Browng MGs, but the following have Brwnng MGs instead.

Algeria, slots 29, 49, 59, 65
Chad, slots 29, 49, 59
South Africa, slots 60, 61

Very much PITA when comparing what should be the same weapons.

I'll keep chipping away at this, but I think I could be going for years with this little project!!
