Default Ships from Diceland game included?

Hey, I'm a long time space wargamer, and I *love* Weird Worlds. So I am quite interested in picking this up. I am curious if the ships from the Diceland: Infinite Space (I think that was the name) game are included? There were all sorts of interesting designs, like a Terran Destroyer, a Zorg Carrier, etc.

Thank you! I see it's 'just' the ships from Weird Worlds itself, but that's fine. Will just give me an excuse to homebrew some stats.

As for adding more ships in the future, is Digital Eel planning on expansions for the game, or another release method?

Anyway, looking forward to the game. Is this forum the primary discussion point for the game, or is there a mailing list or something similar I should sign up for?

Strange, don't know how it let you post as 'unregistered'.

Definitely possible expansions, but of course all that is also tied into how popular the game is, so make sure you get all your friends also interested.

As this is the official forum this would be the primary discussion point for the game, and then there is also a BoardGameGeek entry (there's a link to it on another thread here) which can also be used for discussion. There's no specific mailing list for the game, but our newsletter will have periodic information on it.

Oh, one thing I forgot to originally mention is that homebrewing stats shouldn't be too difficult once you see how the rest of the ships stack up in terms of raw numbers. Basically all you'll have to do is decide on how fast a ship should move (and the ratings reflect size classes so that's a snap to figure out), plug in weapon ratings and then decide on shields/repair units.

During playtesting I started toying around with even giving the ships the Starfleet Battles treatment (multiple damage boxes, shield boxes, energy management). Got distracted, but even that was rather easy to homebrew onto their system, which thanks to how easy it is to grok makes house rules very easy to add.
