Evading Taxes??
If a sacred units upkeep its half as it would be if not sacred.
What if I Equip my expensive, non-sacred mage with a shroud of the battlesaint (or whatever is called the tunic that gives the blessed state to a commander) to him?
would I have to pay half upkeep then?

Re: Evading Taxes??
If a unit is sacred, it is taxed at half upkeep.
A shroud makes your unit blessed, not sacred (unless you put the shroud on your pretender, then it does neither -- it's just some pretty lame armour).
Being blessed has no effect on taxes. So you'll still pay full upkeep.

Re: Evading Taxes??
I'm not sure if "blessed" counts as "sacred" for the purpose of halving the upkeep... It should be easy to test, but I don't have access to Dominions here in the army.

I use shrouds very often and it works like vfb said. It doesn't effect the upkeep, thats approved .

"Bogus and his fellow adventurers decided to punish you for not paying full salary to his nephew the troll king"
