Battle replay incorrect

In one of my mp games, the battle replay showed my forces winning a battle and killing most of my enemy. But when i went to the map, the enemy army was there and mine was defeated.

Where did this fictional battle replay come from?

It's a thing that happens sometimes when the hosting machine and the client are using different operating systems.

...or different versions (i.e. 3.08 vs. 3.06)

I've had this occasionally as well. Very sure there was no version mismatch, but can't say about OS. It's prety annoying.

If its the Perpetuality battle with me you are talking about, I'll explain in a few turns why that happened.

Nope, K. It was in the Epic Heroes game. All of the replays between you and I(and there were two too many btw for my liking

) turned out correctly.

I know precisely what spells you cast to ambush my army.

It appears that your previous foes were unable to kill any of your capital only Palankashas given their great number.
