A couple of modding questions
Hello guys,
I think I might start modding soonish. In the meantime it'd be nice to have an idea of what's possible, so I can mull things over in my head. So here's a couple of questions:
1) Would it be possible to have a spell like Swarm, for instance, which summoned something other than dragonflies?
2) Is it possible to have summoned/recruitable things which vary randomly? For example, EA Abysia's Demonbreds all come out differently. Is it possible to do something similar? Could I have a unit where each one recruited had a random weapon out of a small set of possibilities?
Thanks!

Re: A couple of modding questions
1) Yes I believe so. It's just a battlefield summon and you can specify which monster number turns up, how many etc.
2) No, currently that can't be done.

Re: 1) - Might it be possible to summon more than one type of monster? e.g. 10 of Monster A, 10 of Monster B?
2) That's a pity. That could be fun.

Re: A couple of modding questions
I don't think you can summon 10 of one 10 of another.
95% sure in fact.

Re: A couple of modding questions
3) Is it possible to attach any spell effect to a weapon? What I'm thinking is, could I have a weapon that causes rage?
4) How could I make someone who always starts the battle with some of a certain unit type, or can summon them on the first turn? I was thinking of perhaps having a 1-ammo weapon, the effect of which is a summon spell. Possible?

Re: A couple of modding questions
3 - no, only those effects already available as weapons can be duplicated. See Edi's weapon list.
4) There are few monsters who automatically start the battle with few creatures of a spesific type (e.g. Dai Oni and wolves, Mother of Lions and great lions). However, I don't think it can be modded.
