Chalice - few questions
I have few questions about Chalice.
1. Is there a limit on how many troops it can heal each turn? I have a lot of injured soldiers, but I wonder if I should be careful not to bring too many injured weaklings, to not accidently reduce chances of my best soldiers to get healing.
2. The questing knights who can try to take away the chalice - how big of a headache are they? How often do they come? Is it an assasination attmept or do they attack a province? If it is asasination, is there a standart limit of 5 commanders that could be brought to battle with Chalice's owner? And these knigths - how tough are they and how many of them usually come?
3. Who heals better - Chalice, Faery Queen, or Arco priestess? I remember they heal with various efficiency, but I dont' remember the numbers.
Thanks!

Re: Chalice - few questions
1) No limit on how many it can heal per turn.
2) Never seen them and from all reports, they are very rare
3) Chalice is best, since it heals with iirc close to 100% efficiency and can heal undead as well, which the Arco priestess (20%) and Faery Queen (afaik 20%) can't do.

Re: Chalice - few questions
The Chalice is also supposed to heal old age affliction.
You can think of the Chalice as a localized Gift of Health for the current province (for affliction purproses only, it doesn't give more HP of course)

Re: Chalice - few questions
Thanks guys.
Few more questions - does the Chalice simply need to be present in province to have its healing effect? Meaning - can I give Chalice to scout and have him travel with the army while hiding? It works with supply items, but I don't remember if it works with Chalice.
Aslo do I remember correctly that healing happens after the movement phase - meaning if I bring injured troops into province with chalice, they will healed on the same turn as they arrive.
Unrelated question about artifacts - with astral boots and gate stone, do I remember correctly that is it comlpetely impossible to catch the teleporting army/SC before they teleport to the new location - with spells, assasins, anything?

Re: Chalice - few questions
Hrrrrrrm. Spells are executed in random order, aren't they? So if a spell *kills* the Astral Traveler -- say, it's a direct damage spell like Flames from the Sky or a reaaaally lucky Seeking Arrow -- without requiring that he stick around for a battle, it should preempt...
Hmm hmm. I wonder if remote-assassination-summon spells like Manifestation are resolved at the same time as remote-summons that merely drop units for standard army battles.
