New Canadian OOB

Don and Andy,
I have just downloaded the version 3.0 upgrade and am very pleased to see that you have used most of the changes I sent you, including .lbm files. This is a great surprise bc I assumed after Narwan's response to me, you would be able to use none of it. It looks very good from what I have seen so far.
Thank you very much for including and improving it.

Well Cam I will say I really wasn't very happy when it was dumped into my lap when it was with Pics included without checking what numbers were being used for this patch and Icons added without asking if those slots were used or not. It doesn't really matter if they did or not. The point was we weren't asked about this. And then I ran the OOB you sent through MoBHacks Database checker..... ( run your original through all the tests and see what pops up. Don't worry, it's not the worst one I've seen though

)

Working on the outside the development team then submitting OOB's at the last moment never causes me to dance for joy. You weren't the only one who did so don't feel you're alone.

However, after a week or two ( or three... ) of picking though it there were some nice additions made to the overall OOB. For that I thank you. You will find a credit in the GG.

Sorry to have caused some consternation

I attempted to contact you about this OOB and which slots to use for .lbms and icons through Pyros back in Sept or Oct. He said he would do his best and I haven't heard from him by email or forums since. So I waited. When I read on the forum in Dec that the patch was almost ready, I contacted Narwan and gave him what I had. In hindsight, I should have contacted you upfront on the forum.
Narwan informed me of the errors in the database checker, I had no idea there was such a tool. I repaired them in my own file straight away.

I learned a lot from this, and got a very good idea of how much work you, Andy and the Beta testing group must put into each game. Any future contributions I may make will be more polished and better communicated.
