Default Aussie Cent MG and SB2C Helldiver 20mm models

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me the correct models for the Australian Centurion tank co-ax machine-gun and the SB2C Helldiver 20mm cannon? I've checked for both on the web and have drawn a blank.
Also, I've made changes to a few OOB's and I was wondering if those changes will be undone if a new version (e.g. V3) is installed.

Thanks in advance

The Centurion tanks fitted with 20mm co-ax should have been a model of the British Polsten cannon if memory serves me right. The Curtiss SB2C had four M3 cannon (sometimes written AN/M3). This was the penultimate variant of the US built variants of the Hispano HS404.

Er, isn't that 20mm Polsten on the Centurion only used as ranging gun? If so, it shouldn't appear in the OOB due to limited ammo and no combat use, I guess.

No, I think it was actually meant to be a close combat weapon. Either way, it was quickly replaced on most Centurions with a 7.92mm BESA CMG.

I misread the initial post as well. The Standard Co-Ax for Aussie Centurions was the Browning L3.

It was trialled, and quickly removed with the BESA. probably too bulky, and used too large ammo.
Digger History

Cheers

OK, got it, thanks for the correction, I guess I got it mixed up with the .50 MG. My bad.
