Default Borg Variant posted in ships/races mods/archive

Have posted a Borg variant in the mods/archive. Unlike Deathstalkers mod, this one involves some mods to the TechAreas and Components files - point defence and destroyers are available at game start and a Borg technology and components have been added. The Borg Research file includes researching of the 5 levels of Borg Technology.

The Borg technology and components dont (unless someone finds them in ruins I guess).
The destroyers and point defence of course do.

PS: Human players should be on their best behaviour and not research the Borg Technology (even if the tech is fun to have!).(Or trade for it!)....

I surely would! Because I use so many different races in my games and I continue to include more, I don't want to use major modifications of the basic game components.

Have just done an update v135b1. Am currently in a play test and so is a friend of mine. Borg are number 2 in both of our games by turn 60. Will complete play test before generating a "basic" game set.
