Are you certain the guy jacking up the truck is American?. It looks Eastern European to me.

Is that bottles of beer in the background? As Homeland Security Beer taster I must impound that beer to protect it from eventual harm.

When I lived in Turkey eight years ago, sights like this were very common. They tended to make do with whatever was available, with surprisingly few accidents.

Re: And These Guys Get To Reproduce
I don't know what you guys are talking about. I looked at the fork truck that fell off the dock with the bomb on it and I still haven't stopped laughing long enough to click on the next link.

Wow, those people are so dangerous! Need to have an ambulance standing by... Just watch from a safe distance. I wonder how many forklifts can stack without falling over?

Re: And These Guys Get To Reproduce
Yea, like the guy who stood there after a bomb fell off the dock and took a picture of it instead of RUNNING!!! Kinda reminds you of the other post about the STUPID music industry. (please post there on that subject, I think it's "OT: Die music fans die")

I heard a story on the radio a while ago about the government munitions 'factory' (which is probably where this picture was taken). They talked about 'accidents' and said "If you hear the bomb hit the ground, you are gonna survive." Meaning that 'accidents' with bombs tend to be too quick to even allow an "Oh, [censored]!" moment before you die. And just how fast do you expect to be able to run anyway? Do you know how fast the pressure wave from a high-explosive moves?

Re: And These Guys Get To Reproduce
Well, this is sort of a classic myth that does not have much basis in fact. Bombs and other munitions are typically designed to be dropped or damaged without exploding... Called Sailor Proofing or Soldier Proofing, depending on the background. Some of the newer bombs can even be shot or set afire and still wont explode.
