Default Is this supposed to happen in the new Game?

I dismounted my Mech. Section from a BTR-152 to mop-up a fleeing tank crew - who were in an adjacent hex. The blast from their RPG-7 round blew up my own BTR-152!

If you have a save game, attach it and we'll look at it.

We tweaked the splash damage code a bit for v2.0. This is what happens when this code gets tweaked "a bit".

I'm betting you just rolled the equivalent of snake eyes three times in a row. The game determined that there should be blast effects in the next hex from the RPG and then it probably found the zero top armour of the BTR-152 then calced probable damage from the RPG ( which would be small in virtually all cases ) then rolled box cars for damage.

I'll make sure I turn off my RPG when dismounting from a "soft-top" APC in future! And remind me never to play dice......

Cheers,

John

Cheers,

John
blast damage to nearby friends has always been a problem. It was acute with the standard UK WW1/2 hand grenade the mills, as the round metal base plug could fly lethally 100 yards or so in random directions!

AFAIK the wounding radius of our standard hand grenade is some 100 meters...
