Default OT: Apologies

So..it's all over (the election that is). I would like to apologize to all those to whom I was a jerk. Sorry for being d*ck-ish. While I may disagree greatly about politics with others, I think I was so worked up as to cross the line from a "pundit" to being an *sshole. It was not called for, and not generally my style to be such - I just felt that this election was a defining moment for my life. That doesn't, of course, justify some of the words I may have used.

Sorry.

Alarik

Don't worry Alarikf, The Election of a President is a very important thing, and at least You felt strongly enough to vote. Thing's will get heated as Politics is based very much around a peson's viewpoint.

And as I said, at least you felt strongly about it. The Last UK Elections only had a 59% turnout, out of an island of 58 Million .

It was a defining moment in all our lives. It was a crossroads in the history of our nation.

Let's just hope Bush can refrain from invading anymore countries, or starting WWIII.

Oh please, why the heck is it that Bush is a bad guy for invading one country while Clinton attacked a dozen or so and he's all good.....heh because he's a liberal of course....but anyway let's not get politics involved in this thread as it would ruin the spirit in which it was made.

And hey Alarkif I was a jerk too when it came to the politics so I've got no problem with you, this election had everyone a little hot around the collar.
It's funny in person I can talk about religion and politics with someone with very little argument but on the net I get a little hot about it go figure eh?

Sheeshe you punch one girl out and.....I mean woops hehe. (just kidding of course!)

Actually for me I think it's a matter of for me visual clues are important when it comes to reading someone's mood and attitude, since on the net I can't see someone's expression I can not tell if they are simply being hostile or just say asking a sincere question or saying their opinion in a friendly manner.
The wording to throws me, in person I'm a much better "Speaker" then I am when I'm not the net so people often misunderstand my attitude and it just gets out of hand.
