Question on Planet Improvement
What are the positive impact of improving a planet's condition? Does anybody waste the resources and planet facility slots to do it.
PS I am talking about the "condition" not the "value" rating or atmosphere.

Re: Question on Planet Improvement
Better conditions improve the rate at which your people reproduce. Aside from pulling a planet out of deadly status, its only really useful on large breathable worlds where you can hold lots of pop to ship out to the colonies.
That and for creating perfect planets to stroke your Imperial Ego.

This applies to Value Improvement Plants, but he was asking about Conditions Improvement Plants.
Pulling a planet out of Deadly status can take a very, very long time, as Cond. Imp. is not linear, it actually multiplies the conditions value.

Re: Question on Planet Improvement
I is faster to destroy and create again a deadly planet. Assuming you have the proper technology available, of course.

Re: Question on Planet Improvement
Sometimes, if you turn an asteroid field into a planet, it can have higher than 250% value, but then you put a value improvement facility on it and the value goes down to 250%.
What is an irradiated planet?

Guess SE4 only enforces max planet values when improvement occurs.

My guess would be the Irradiated size/type of planet in FQM Deluxe. It has no affect on value though...
