Event modding

I have updated my event file with some events of my own. Are there any known problems I should look out for?

I've added things like Glac-elves taking your resources, mouse-rat infestation of your planet, and a comet crashing into your planet. I added graphics too. I was also thinking of adding additional intel attacks like redirecting a asteriod to an enemy planet. When I'm done with these I'll post them in the mod section.

Is there a way that you can add a derelect spaceship to your events? It would be great if you could find an advanced ship to add to your fleet.

I don't know the data files well enough, but if it is possible it would involve adding the effect from ruins as an event file entry.
