Rigor Mortis and Darkness?
Ok, what does Rigor Mortis do? And what does Darkness do?
How powerful are they? How deadly? How do you make them deadly?... I want to know everything about these two spells, even state the obvious, thanks.

They take Death gems. Those are the purple ones.

Re: Rigor Mortis and Darkness?
Darkness produces the absence of light. This impairs vision and makes fighting hard unless you have catlike senses or happen to be undead. Unfortunately apparently night vision is not a unit attribute at the moment.
Rigor Mortis comes from Latin.
I don't think the spells are very powerful. I cast Rigor Mortis on my cat and he just kept laying there like before. He didn't seem too lively, but I don't think he actually died so I don't think it was too deadly either. Maybe if you gave the spells guns or knives.
Remember, guns don't kill people. Spells with guns kill people.
Oh...and one of the spells is named "Darkness" and the other is named "Rigor Mortis".
Anything else you want to ask?

Rigor Mortis, the stiffness of death, is not to be confused with Rigor Mortis, deadly stiffness. The latter affliction is quite powerful and is common amongst those Burdened by too much Time. In order to distinguish the former, nonlethal effect from the latter far more dangerous one, scholars have taken to calling it "arthritis". Peasants, on the other hand, simply suffer regardless of what it's called, since there's no known cure.
