Default SE Starfury should had been a mmorpg

imho that's the only thing that lacks the game, a multplay option, and i really miss it. I hope malfador could release something like that someday

Starfury as MMORPG would have rocked...but on these days developing a MMORPG is a very big project with big costs

They coulda done it like how Freelancer and SFC was, where other ppl ran the servers, and it wasnt entirely like a MMORPG, but Online where stats were saved and could be restarted

And Im sure many of us fans woulda put our free time into helping develop it

Well that could work, but only with dedicated servers.. unless you wanna leave most to clientside and invite hacks and junk..

People could easily run dedicated servers if it didnt use too many resources

Aaron should look to make SF2 (or this one via a patch) Online playable in the way suggested

Most likely won't happen. Starfury is supposedly from what i have heard the way SEV will be using combat. Most work will be going into that i imagine

I wish we could have a Space Empires themed MMORPG. I don't know how successful it would be, but it just might be better than SW Galaxies (my friend loves it, but usually I hear bad stuff about it)

The two will hover, spinning inches above the ground. With a giant buttered cat array, a high-speed monorail could easily link New York with Chicago.

I would love for it too happen sometime in the future

Could you imagine a fleet of Human Terran ships defending the outer colonies against a fleet of Human EEE ships
And then when the battle is over, the winners congratulated and the losers consuled, everyone goes back to their normal buisness of killing Pirates and so on
