PBW Stats and other game numbers
Geo
I am curious what is the longest running game on PBW? what was the shortest? How many have contributed$ Who is in the most games? I am curious about any stats you know or can think of. I have been in a PBW game that seems to have been going on since before I started playing SEIV (I took over another players slot)
Thanks
Gozguy
can any other PBW gamer beat 958 planets under their control and the game is not over?

Re: PBW Stats and other game numbers
As to contributions, they are up-to-date on the SE4 site (listed below).

Re: PBW Stats and other game numbers
As for the Longest games - there are 2 contenders that I can think of :-
5 Seas of Stability - Started 21 Sept 2001 and finished on PBW on Dec 2003, when 5 people dropped out when 1 alliance was almost crushed. Their where still a dozen players left.
P&N on PBW, take 2 - is the second one. This game start well before Sept 2002 and the game is still going. I don't know when it started however.
Fyron has claimed to have been in the most games, and no-one has contradicted him.
The shortest games would have to be KOTH games.
My first Koth game (Non-Gold, pre Ratings thankfully) was 8 turns, and that was my complete annialation, including the destruction of my Home World.

Re: PBW Stats and other game numbers
I'm in a game, Big Fat Zero the Third, it dates back to Oct 2001 and is on turn 178. I'm also in the P&N take 2 game, that's Nov 2001 and on turn 133.
Both games I came in as a replacement, and have been full of delays. But still - they're almost 3 years old!

If you discount tournament games and KOTH games, I am probably one of the people that has hosted the largest number of games as well. Tesco and Geoschmo are up there too.
