Helicopter wont shoot

Hello to everyone.I am playing a scenario which involves some AH-1 Supercobras.The problem is that although it seems that I have four shots for each weapon I cannot shoot them.The area fire doesn't work ,direct fire either.Some turns before I could shoot normally.There is LOS to at least 4-5 enemy units.They are infantry inside or outside buildings.Am I doing something wrong here?Everything else seems to work just fine.

Have you checked if you actually have ammo of the requisite type left for these weapons? You may forex have plenty of AP but no HE left.

Unfortunately the scenario ended and I did not check.So I can fire a HE weapon to an armoured target but I cannot do the opposite?I understand that some AT weapons need armoured target to be activated and fired so maybe that is the case.Anyway thank you very much for the response!!!

HE ammo can be fired at all targets.

AP ammo cannot be fired at soft targets, but some exceptions apply. Vehicles without armour can be shot up with AP shot if there is no HE remaining or present. Anti-tank rifles are therefore quite good on trucks (mainly found in WW2).
