Dominions: Priests, Prophets & Pretenders, slow battles
Hi, I have this question.
How is that the battles in Dominions 1, are faster on my old pc pentim 500 mhz (128 ram) than on my 1600 mhz netbook with 1gb ram ?
It works well on both computers but when I wach the battles, they are very slow on my netbook especially when there are many units on the screen, and trying to increase the speed with the in-game hotkeys has no effect.
Any idea on how to increase the battle sequences on my netbook ?

Turn down all details as much as you can. If you have that stuff enabled, some of it can hog the system resources pretty bad.

I allready tried that, and it don't made any significant difference, maybe its a Windows7 problem ?
Because on the other computer I have WindowsXP installed.

Perhaps. That game is ancient. I haven't got Windows 7, so I wouldn't know. You could try running the game in XP SP3 compatibility mode and see if that makes a difference.
